WELCOME!

Hey there! I'm samlovesmath, but everyone calls me Sam.

This is a website where I will host portfolio-like content, as well as information about commissioning. Please check out the tabs above if you are considering commissioning me for any work.

Works will hold all of my past work and examples that could be reviewed.
Requests will hold all of the details for commissioning, payment types, rules, and contact information.

Please reach out to me for any questions about the content. I will be more than willing to provide extra information if needed.

ABOUT ME

I am a 19-year-old freelancing digital artist based in Virginia, U.S.A. (she/her)
I am in my second year of college, and will graduate with an Associate's for Fine Arts in Spring 2023.
I plan to receive my Bachelor's for Fine Arts in 2025.

I can do mostly anything between 3D and 2D content, though I specialize in 3D art.
I am experienced with Source Filmmaker (6 years), Blender (3 years), and starting to dabble in Cinema 4D (1 year).

I absolutely love anything involving videogames;
Five Night's at Freddy's, Minecraft, Roblox, the Mario/Sonic Series, and Undertale & Deltarune are some of my favorites.

I also have an addiction to cats.
I plan to get some in the future.

No cat will be safe from my grasp.

  4. I may ask to look at content to get an idea for pricing.

Once I begin working on the request:

COMMISSION REQUESTS

I work with short-term animations.
This can be from small gifs or thumbnails to animations or cutscenes added to games.

  1. Animatronics and robots of any kind; I am well-experienced in robotic motion.

  2. Humanoids, both complex or simple; detailed motion, facial/body expression, interacting actions.

  3. Custom rigs or non-humanoid characters.

  4. Physics; realistic motions that involve using custom rigs.
I tend to be quite realistic in style with my animations, though I can flexibly bend to other styles.

  5. More stationary animations, than extreme ones.

  1. Any model with any rig, as long as it is easily available to me.

  2. Any animations with any movement, though bigger movements will require more effort from me.

  3. Anything graphic (as in SHOCKING, not sexual--nothing too extreme)

  1. Use any content that is private or that I/you do not have permission to use.

  2. Anything sexual (and/or suggestive) NSFW;

  3. Anything that encourages or promotes illegal or disrespectful acts, or sparks controversy.

  4. Anything involving political concepts, figures, and/or stances.

  1. * Costs will always be communicated and negotiated.
    These are only estimations.

__$ 1-3/second  -  ANIMATION RATE
__

__$ 5-20  -  STILL MEDIA
__

  1. TWO TYPES OF ANIMATION OFFERS:
Basic - Simple animations from your OWN personal choice of rigs,
with the animation file itself and the export given back to you.

(ex. useful for games, implimenting into other animations, etc.)
Media - Fully- or partially-rendered videos or images with content,
where specifics of content are chosen by you.

(ex. gifs, animated videos, posters, thumbnails, etc. -- is usually more expensive)

  1. Extra needs that can influence cost:

  1. Accessibility of mesh and model content.
(if it's not publicly available, I have to make it. That takes longer!)

  2. Complexity/detail of the animation and environment.

  3. (For Video) Post-editing and environmental rendering.

  4. (For Video) The number if different scenes I must make.

  1. I work primarily in Blender.
I do not render long videos with Cycles.
It will take weeks for that stuff to render for me. Posters or short videos are fine.

WORKS

Jero Studio's OC - (MODEL NOT MINE)

Port done as an offer of help when the original porter was unavailable.
Was already modeled in C4D and ported to Blender, but needed optimization in Blender.

FNAF World Moves Pack - (ALL SELF-MADE)

I have already released this pack, but all 70 models were ported from Blender 2.8+ to SFM.
Check out the pack here.

FNAF World Nature & Prop Pack - (ALL SELF-MADE; WIP)

This pack is not yet released, but still expected to have ~50 models.
I have already finished some of them.
